Package Design

This project was a package design I created for a course on package design.
To make sure my design was aligned with market expectations, I conducted market research by visiting bars
and liquor stores in New York City. This helped me gain insights into current trends and customer preferences, which informed the final design approach.

In this class, we received a real client request, which involved reinterpreting a Brooklyn recipe from
the past and modernizing it for today. The challenge was to blend the old recipe
with a contemporary approach, while also maintaining its original essence.

The target market for this product was young men, with a slightly luxurious appeal.
As I thought about how to reinterpret the old recipe in a modern way, I was inspired by risography.
This technique uses silkscreen methods from the past but combines them with modern printing,
allowing for unique artistic expression. I decided to use risography-style images of the ingredients
and incorporated small textured typography into the design to reflect the fusion of old and new.
