The inspiration for this video was drawn from observing planes soaring across the sky in front of LAX airport in Los Angeles. Having lived abroad for eight years, the realization emerged that airplanes symbolize not only new beginnings but also the painful emotions of leaving someone behind. For some, planes represent the excitement of a new journey, while for those left behind, they evoke the sadness of farewell.
In this video, the aim was to capture these complex emotions. The flight of the plane symbolizes not just physical distance but also the emotional separation between two people. As the plane takes off, it expresses the excitement and anticipation of a new destination, while simultaneously conveying the quiet sadness of the one left behind. Amid fireworks and moments of celebration, the person left behind sheds tears, witnessing the departure. This narrative highlights that while the one leaving embarks on a new journey, the one staying behind experiences the greater sadness.
